I am a UK based artist, specialising in carving, and even more specifically iconography, but certainly not exclusive to just that. I finished my training in 2021, and from there on have been slowly trying to find my place within this strange time we are all living through, more about that here. I suppose this Substack is a way to keep people who are interested informed about my practice, revealing a peak behind the curtain, showing insights into the process of making and perhaps other ramblings. The artistic approach is fundamental to our experience, it’s not just about pretty pictures but more of a philosophical approach to life. There is an art form in every human action, it’s true goal is the pursuit of beauty and thus truth. Do join me for the search and see where it goes.
